washing dishes: a father’s glimpses

I was at the auto shop last week for an oil change exchanging pleasantries with D:

“How have you been?” she asked.

“Hot,” I told her. “I’m eager for some rain.”

“It’ll come,” was her reply.

She’s been right. And will continue to be so.
