I visited the public library this afternoon after passing by the outlets. The parking lot was over-capacity so people parked on the grass at the stoplight intersection. Meanwhile, there more empty spots than cars in the library lot.
20 minutes sitting in the quiet area on the second floor was more precious than wading through aisles and clothing racks. The quiet was quite a juxtaposition from the busyness of outlet shopping.
The public library is second to grocery stores as places and civic institutions that I frequent. I explore, wander and arrive at unfathomable passages and flavors in each.
